Refuge of Sinners

Join us for this month’s Rosary Procession Sunday, August 14th, the Vigil of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Monsignor Jim VandenHogen will hold a rite of Renewal for those having made their Schoenstatt Covenant of Love.  This will be held following the procession and the ” dish to pass” dinner .    The procession is held each month from May through October. We meet in the Wayside Shrine, Refuge of Sinners for the 3 PM Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Everyone proceeds to the pond area and then process praying the rosary through trails in the woods, or around the pond if the trails are too wet.  Children and adults love this procession as they see other families pray, eat and have fun together. Activities for the children include playing on the sandy beach by the pond, climbing the “tower”, soccer, football, or volleyball. Bring a dish to pass and socialize with people who are fun to be with and who desire to pay homage to the Mother of God, Mother of our Redeemer, and Mother of the Redeemed-that’s our Mother-Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt
